Piemontite from St Marcel, Italy rock thin section Pendant (P44)

A thin rock section of Piemontite was viewed by polarised light microscopy, This is a metamorphic ore rock formed by the action of manganese rich fluids at high temperature and pressure on existing rocks. From St Marcel, Italy.

These colourful and interesting microscope photo pendants are 22mm in diameter and measure 34mm from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant. The pendants are silver plated and supplied with an 18 inch (45cm) silver plated chain. (If you require a different length chain please put a note in the 'special instructions' box in checkout).
The image has been printed onto glossy metal which is sealed underneath a glass magnifying dome. As the images are printed onto metal there are reflections from both the metal and the glass resulting in the image having more 'depth'.
