A solution of pure caffeine was evaporated to form crystals on a microscope slide. By viewing these crystals using polarised light microscopy, amazing and interesting colours and patterns are seen. This is due to the crystals forming regular arrays and interfering with the light path to give the colours seen (no colours were changed using Photoshop).

Silver plated cufflinks with a glass dome. The image has been printed on glossy metal so that both the metal and the magnifying glass dome reflect light. This means that as you move the cufflinks the image has real depth and almost appears 'alive'. Cufflinks measure 18mm across (16mm glass dome) and 25mm deep (from the back of the swivel mount to the front of the glass dome). Supplied in a gift box with a description of the image.
