Five rock thin section images geology cards (C-Geo)

These rock thin section geology cards would be great to give to geologists, teachers or anyone interested in rocks and everything geological.

Cards come with a description of the image on the back.

Rock thin sections were viewed by polarised light microscopy and the images are of (clockwise from top left):

Hornblendite from Avernish, Scotland;

Peridotite from Ardnamurchan, Scotland;

Pyroxene from Vesuvius, Italy;

Piemontite from St Marcel, Italy;

Gabbro from Huntly, Scotland.

Cards are 150mm (6 inch) square, blank inside and each card is individually packed with a white envelope in a cellophane bag to ensure they are in great condition when you come to use them.
